The 44th Legislative District Democrats

The 44th LD Democrats nominate and endorse the following candidates:

* Steve Hobbs, 44th LD Senate
* Hans Dunshee, 44th LD House of Representatives, position 1
* John Boerger, 44th LD House of Representatives, position 2.

We also endorse congratulate Rick Larsen, Jay Inslee, and Jim Kenny on their nominations. Although we have not yet considered their endorsements, they are the only people eligible for our endorsements in their respective races.

Our bylaws and state party rules prohibit the 44th LD Democrats from nominating or endorsing more than one Democrat in any partisan race, regardless of how strongly the other candidates may support the Democratic platform.

This is how the top-two primary law harms the voters, the Democratic party, and all the other candidates who prefer the Democratic party.
