General plan of action to be presented February, 2007.

Duties of the Chair

• Directs the affairs of this organization as its chief executive officer.
• Is a member of the State Democratic Chairs Organization.
• Is a voting member of the Snohomish County Democratic Central Committee Executive Board.
• Is an ex-officio member of all committees of the 44th, with the exception of the nominating committee.
• Serves as the presiding officer at all general and Exec. Board meetings of the 44th.
• Processes all incoming and outgoing mail. (moved from secretary duties)
• Works with the Treasurer to prepare and submit a budget to the membership at the March general meeting.
• Works with the Executive Board to prepare a general plan of action for his/her term of office, which is to be presented at the general meeting following the election of officers. This general plan of action is to be updated every six months and presented to the members at the general meeting.
