Duties of the Affirmative Action Coordinator:

  • Keeps informed about current national, state and local legislative issues that deal with affirmative action, and reports on these issues, in a timely manner, to the membership.
  • Works to inform the membership about the planks in the National, State and County Democratic Party Platform that deal with issues concerning affirmative action.
  • Reports regularly to the members about community events that deal with affirmative action issues.
  • Chairs the Affirmative Action Committee.
  • Performs such duties as may be assigned by the Chair.
