Precinct Committee Officers

Precinct committe officers, or PCOs, are the key the success of the democratic party.

PCOs walk their own home precincts, knock on doors, to get to know their neighbors. PCOs help to organize and represent the grass roots campaigns.

PCOs will also serve as Chair of their own Precinct's Caucus, from 12:00PM to 3:00PM on Saturday, February 9th, 2008.

The PCOs serve their local voters. One of the best ways to contact the democratic party, is to contact the PCO in your precinct, or in a neighboring precinct.

If your precinct does not have a PCO, and you want to volunteer to help the democratic cause, why not become a PCO for your own precinct.

1. To find the PCO for your precinct, first use this precinct locator to find your precinct.
2. Once you know your precinct, look up the PCO for your precinct on this list of PCOs.

PCO Term

The term of office of precinct committee officer is two years, commencing the first day of December following the primary.

As you can see from this list, there are a lot of vacancies left to fill. If there is a vacancy in your precinct, please consider becomming an appointed PCO. We will be recruiting more PCOs in 2007.
