Freedom Sunday 2006 Summer Picnic!
by the Snohomish County Democratic Central Committee
Tulalip Amphitheater in Marysville (between the Seattle Premium Outlet Mall and the Tulalip Casino) on Sunday, August 13th between 11:00am and 3:00pm.
This is going to be an afternoon devoted to celebrating our cherished freedoms and our continued resistance to the tyranny of the Bush Regime!
Live Music will be provided by "THE PATRIOT ACT", and they are a RIOT!
A healthy picnic lunch will be served with salmon, hamburgers, hotdogs and garden burgers, salads and desserts for just $10.00. Look for a wine and beer garden too!
We'll be able to mingle with our Democratic Candidates for the Washington State House and Senate and we can stock up on literature to doorbell our precincts! There will also be information on the state-wide initiatives and issues as well as our non-partisan races. It's always hard to figure out who to vote for judges!
Come stock up on bumper stickers, buttons, t-shirts, ball caps and key chains to show your Democratic spirit! In addition to celebrating our activism as Democrats we will be supporting the efforts of local organizations who help individuals in their own struggle for independence from addictions. Therefore, we will be donating a portion of our Silent Auction proceeds to The Evergreen Treatment Center. This is a tax-deductible contribution!
Snohomish County has not been immune to the desperation and blight created by the scourge of Methamphetamine and other equally destructive substances. We need to promote treatment if we are going to have any hope of control, and the Evergreen Treatment Center has had a great success rate at doing this!
Please call Betsy Foster at 425-870-4656 for more information and be sure to check our website at www.snohomishdemocrats.org for more information!
