General meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month at the Snohomish School Resource Center, 1601 Avenue D, in Snohomish.

These meetings usually feature a speaker on some topic of interest to 44th District Democrats. Refreshments are served. Bring your friends and neighbors along, to help them get involved in the progressive movement via the 44th Legislative District Democratic Party.

  • Chandra McDaniel and Larry Kalb talked about single payer health care and HR 676. They are involved with the Washington Health Security Coalition, the Physicians for a National Health Plan and Health Care for All.

  • The General Meeting was cancelled due to weather and road conditions.
  • The Chair is currently exploring the possibility of rescheduling.

In view of the weather and road conditions, and in consultation with members of the Executive Board, I am canceling tonight's (Jan 11, 2007) meeting of the 44th Legislative District Democrats. We will explore the possibility of rescheduling, being aware of the difficulty of finding an alternative that will please a large enough group of people to offset those who will be disappointed. General Meetings of the PCO Class of 2004

All agendas and minutes are tentative until they are approved, and they may not be approved until they are adopted. The previous month's minutes, and the current month's agenda, are adopted just after the introduction of each meeting. Approved minutes of general meetings shall be posted within 48 hours. Other documents are maintained by the Secretary for public inspection, but are not necessarily posted on the website. (Bylaws, Article IV, Section 5)
